MONCTON (N.B.) - For the first time in history, the Sept. 13, 2024 Lotto Max jackpot has grown to $75 million.
As of Sept. 10, 2024, Lotto Max is offering players the chance to win more than ever before as jackpots will now be able to grow as high as $80 million – that's $10 million higher than the previous maximum and a higher jackpot than any Canadian lottery has ever reached before.
As always, $1-million MAXMILLIONS prizes will continue to be offered when the main jackpot reaches and exceeds $50 million. There are an estimated 12 MAXMILLIONS prizes available for the Sept. 13, 2024 Lotto Max draw.
Since its launch in 2009, Lotto Max players from Atlantic Canada have won nearly $820 million, including seven jackpot wins, 94 Maxmillions, and numerous secondary prizes.
In addition to this exciting record-breaking jackpot, Lotto Max is offering players even more chances to win this fall with the Dream Big Event.
This national contest, running from Sept. 5 to Oct. 21, 2024, gives players extra chances to win cash prizes of up to $1 million with every eligible Lotto Max ticket they purchase.
“Dream Big marks the first ever Lotto Max contest to run at a national and regional level,” said Warren Cable, Atlantic Lottery’s chief marketing officer. “We’re thrilled to be able to expand the excitement around this already very popular lottery game by giving our players even more chances to win big.”
For every eligible $5 spent on Lotto Max, players will earn five entries into the contest. Thirty weekly prizes of $10,000 will be awarded leading up to the grand prize draw for $1 million. Full contest details can be found at alc.lottomaxdreambig.ca.
With this record-breaking Lotto Max draw taking place Friday, Sept. 13 at 11:29:59 p.m. (AT), the Atlantic Lottery team is excited about the possibility of meeting a $75-million winner.
“Our team is always eager to meet our winners and celebrate their big wins with them,” Cable said. “We’re very excited that these new Lotto Max initiatives not only give our players more chances to win, but that we may soon get to celebrate a record-breaking Canadian lottery win.”
